Fear
In the name of Jesus; may God be blessed as we learn to fear Him.
Let’s first understand the meanings of the word fear.
The biblical meaning is too good for me to paraphrase. Therefore I am quoting fear as follows:l
“The Bible mentions two specific types of fear. The first type is beneficial and is to be encouraged. The second type is a detriment and is to be overcome. The first type of fear is fear of the Lord. This type of fear does not necessarily mean to be afraid of something. Rather, it is a reverential awe of God, a reverence for His power and glory. However, it is also a proper respect for His wrath and anger. In other words, the fear of the Lord is a total acknowledgement of all that God is, which comes through knowing Him and His attributes.”(Got Questions), I can’t say this any better, other than to say that I glorify my fear of God in all things.
The collegiate meaning of fear is: “an unpleasant emotion caused by being aware of danger : a feeling of being afraid”. (Merriam- Webster), God is omnipotent, He does not want us to be afraid of what wicked spirits can do to us, because He overpowers evil.
The biblical meaning for fear is totally different from the collegiate meaning.
Psalm 34:18 (KJV),“18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
- Holy Spirit through (D.S.), “ Jesus is close to His brothers and sisters whose soul has been severed; and rescues the same who has a remorseful pneuma.”
Proverbs 20:7 (KJV),“7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.”
- Holy Spirit through (D.S.), A righteous person walks idolizing God’s honor: their lineage is prosperous as they follow in their parent(s) footsteps.
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)“7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
- Holy Spirit through (D.S.), Our Heavenly Father hasn’t appointed our soul to be afraid; He has given us strength, compassion, and stable wits.
May God be blessed as He guides us through numerous healings, and I choose to adhere to His guidance by using essential oils.
